Itinerary

Day 1 : Arrival welcoming and assistance

Arrive at Marrakech Menara Airport where you will be met by your English-speaking driver and Morad / Fahd from our guest service department who will assist with all your arrangements from the airport to your riad. After a little briefing at the airport, your driver will take you to your riad.

Day 2 : Marrakech – Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades

Morning departure at 07h30 after breakfast from your riad then departure to Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou on a four hours and a half drive (where you can have lunch) through the beautiful mountains of the Haut-Atlas with multiple stops on the road (pictures, coffee…). Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou: A traditional Mud Brick city on the edge of the High Atlas Mountains. Kasbah of Ait Ben Haddou is on the UNESCO world heritage list and has featured in many films, mostly as a replacement for Jerusalem.

It has appeared in a lot of movies, including The Mummy, Kingdom of heaven, Gladiator, Game of Thrones…

After visiting the site and lunch, drive to Ouarzazate on 40 minutes drive and stop to visit the museum of cinema. It traces all the great movies produced there.
After the visit, your driver will take you to Dades on a 2 hours drive where you will stay at

Xaluca de Dades, a heart located luxury hotel with a beautiful swimming pool.

Meals not included except for breakfast.
Accommodation in Xaluca de Dades on a bed and breakfast basis.

Day 3 : Dades – Todgha gorges – Merzouga

The exact pick up time will be confirmed by your driver the evening before, but expect an early wake up.

Depart from the hotel to see the majestic gorges of Dades on a four hours drive with stops on the road for pictures and coffee.

Take your time to visit the Todgha gorges: A canyon in the eastern part of the High Atlas Mountains in Morocco, near the town of Tineghir. Both the Todgha and neighbouring Dades Rivers have carved out cliff-sided canyons on their final 40 kilometres through the mountains.

Lunch time remains your to set with the driver, you can either have it in the village or stop in a station on the road.
After lunch, depart to Merzouga on a two hours and a half drive. Once on spot, you will stop in Riad Nasser Palace to refresh by having a swim and shower. You will then enjoy a camel ride to the tents admiring the sunset on the road after a 4×4 drive through desert.

Enjoy dinner with a beautiful fully starred sky then a traditional music and dance performed by nomads.

Meals not included except for breakfast and dinner in the tents. Accommodation in the tents of Riad Madu or similar.

Day 4 : Free day in Riad Madu or similar

Breakfast then depart to Riad Madu or similar. Enjoy a day at leisure in your hotel. Feel free to talk to the receptionist there if you want to book an activity on spot.

Day 5 : Merzouga – Marrakech

The exact pick up time will be confirmed by your driver the evening before, but expect an early wake up.
Breakfast then departure on a straight drive (around 8 hours and a half) to Marrakech, with

multiple breaks on the road.

Day 6 & 7 : Free time in Marrakech – Departure day for 5 nights offer

Tips:
You haven’t really been to Marrakech until you’ve got lost in the souqs, spent the night amid the storytellers of the Djemaa el-Fna and sipped mint tea while debating the merits of the Berber rug that you’re contemplating purchasing. Tear yourself away from the souqs and the shopping and you’ll find some fascinating historical sites like the long-hidden tombs of the Saadian sultans, Yves St Laurent’s artful Jardin Majorelle and the decorative jewel that is the Ali ben Youssef Medersa.

Day 8 : Departure transfer to Marrakech airport

Your driver will pick you up from the riad 3 hours before your flight departs.

  • Local Tourist Taxes payable at the hotel. 2.5 euros per person per night.
  • Monuments entrance fees (Ouarzazate museum).
